Estimator / Sales Required

Our packaging company is growing its clientele list, and we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in cardboard packaging & printing and will need to be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven. This is the perfect opportunity to work alongside a Brisbane based manufacturer.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate cost
  • Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects
  • Ensure timely completion of quotes (leadtime for quotes are within 24hr timeframe)
  • Negotiating & obtaining pricing from trade partners (if required)
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with clienteles and partners
  • Liaising with paper mills, R&D with new substrates and it's ability for use
  • Meetings with Clients and discussing their requirements
  • Working alongside the design team for keylines and product samples
  • Winning quoted jobs and ensuring clients are always communicated too

Requirements

  • Profound knowledge in printing & cardboard packaging
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Impeccable problem-solving skills
  • The ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly.
  • Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
  • Attention to detail

  • Ensuring we are cost competitive, but also retain profit margins
